Description of Work:

A. Andrews and Sons were awarded the £750k package of ceramic tiling for the prestigious Commonwealth Games Pool in Manchester. The works included tiling to the 50m competition pool, the diving pool, the 50m training pool and mosaic works to the children’s leisure pool. In addition to this we carried out water-proof tanking and tiling to the Changing Village, works to the pool surround floors, the viewing platforms and the back of house areas. The job was completed on time for the commissioning and training of staff before the Games and was awarded "the best use of tile in a Commercial Project 2001" by Tiles UK Magazine.
